The game you're being referred to is 'Gravitation' (recently underwent a name change). It's by James Shaughnessy (~shaughnj / SCEE) and although the game seems to be shaping up very nicely, it may not be the best example code to look at as, although it's well written, it's a little unorthodox in the way it works.
