I expect Sony will continue its professional development programme for the first generation Playstation for a while yet. Given the current installed market of 50 million Playstations I would still expect to see PSX titles coming out long after the release of the PSX2 . Besides, if Sony tried to flog dev kits cheaply they would be snapped up by pro developers pretty fast (I know we could do with another one even after we get our hands on a PSX2 dev kit).
