At the risk of sounding fatuous, have you checked that c:\tmp and c:\temp
directories
both exist on your hard drive?

I renamed my c:\tmp to c:\tmp4 and generated your error message;
restoring c:\tmp sorted it out.

Lots of programs expect to find c:\tmp and c:\temp.

Ok the environment is being recognized.The only problem is that when I
run MAKE It displays a funky error:
"Fatal!cannot open swap file c:\tmp/pg27bfAA.AAA"
CAN SOMEONE HELP?
