Though SoftImage will export animation data in TOD format, this data does not contain manipulation at the vertex level, alas, another approach will be necessary. SoftImage DOES, however, have several export options, including an "Ascii" export option. I'm considering converting that ASCII format into a collection of : 1. RSD 2. TOD 3. VDF Or, at least RSD and VDF. Anyone interested? Any suggestions for a different approach? (once again, I am familiar with Craig's RSDAnim, and I think it's a nice piece of software, but I'm looking to leveraging some of the more professional 3D Graphics applications). I should look into whether SoftImage has a .MAX export -- I could kill two birds with one stone (though, it would have to use the lower common denominator -- i.e. MAX's features only, so it may not be the best idea).
