I wrote a little program to let me play notes from the various sounds, and they do not match up with the sounds that are supposed to be in a GM device. I've also use the andplay.bat utility to play some MIDI files that sound pretty good on my PC, but on the Yaroze, they sound.... Wierd. Would it be possible, if another Boot CD were to ever be produced, to put a GM compatible sound source on there? The reason is that there are alot of GM-compatible MIDI files floating around and it would be so nice and easy to just plop a few into a game, to break up the monotony of "gogo" and "musi". :-) Until then, are there any musicians who would be willing to create a GM compatible VAB file?
