No. T044 in the field of Virtual Sculpting in Computer Graphics. This project aims to develop mouse-based sculpting tools which act directly on a flexible virtual object, such that the sculpted object can then be animated. Objects are based on a form of NURBS surface and existing software allows the user to interact with the object in a virtual 3- D environment. The current tools are quite simple and need to be extended, but in such a way that the user feels they are interacting directly with the object, not with its mathematical structure.
