I'm looking for one of each of the tools. That is 2D paint program, 3D modelling program, and a sound creation tool. I don't particularly want I lot of functionality, but must provide more than the most basic functions. Microsoft Paint would come in the category of not enough functionality. Also, as a "beginner" I'm looking at ease of use of the provided utilities. Ideally, if the 2D and 3D stuff is integrated then that would be a bonus. One problem. Cost. I don't want to fork out a fortune to buy these tools, as they are only for "home" use. Yes, I've looked at the Kinetix software, and output quality is AAA standard, and I have no doubt that they are great products - but there is NO WAY I can afford even the reduced prices. I have around 100UKP, but I'm looking to cover all 3 tools. Also, I'm not really bothered if it's freeware/shareware. TIA. -- jc
