For Audio have a look at sound forge. I don't really know much about midi packages. There are a lot of free 3d models out there. I believe that a commercial modelling package was given away recently on a magazine cover disk that you may be able to track down. Nice thing about psp5 and sound forge is you can try before you buy, but they're definitely worth it.
