as a complete beginner 
all i can say is that codewarrior is absolutly brilliant
i have little idea of how DOS works and had majour problems getting 
the sound tools to work

codewarrior has made learning c++ real pleasure 
having all my silly misstakes pointed out 
and being able to watch programs run a line at a time has 
been a real revelation

codewarrior is great
