If you are using a Mac, then you will need to get hold of a Macintosh modem cable (8 pin male din on one end, 25 pin male serial plug on the other end) and plug that into a converter that converts your 25 pin male end to a 9 pin male end. Then you just plug the 9 pin end of the Yaroze lead into that. If you are using a Mac then you will also need to invest in a copy of CodeWarrior for the Yaroze in order to actually write any code. You will still need to copy across the libraries and include files from the included PC CD ROM though. If you are using a PC then just dump the PC CDROM that came with your yaroze into the CD Drive and copy everything to your C drive. From that point on, look at the getting started guide to geta simple program compiled and downloaded. There is an equivalent guide included with Codewarrior if you are using a Mac, or even if you bought Codewarrior for the PC. Once you have followed the startup guides and got a simple example program compiled and uploaded to the Yaroze, browse through the member's homepages on the Yaroze Europe site and you'll find quite a lot more code to play with as well as some excellent tutorials out there as well. Good luck, Peter Wright. ---------- >From: Niccolo' In article <3672F7D7.AC743927@hempseed.com>, Niccolo' wrote: >Hi guys, > >I am an italian beginner and as until now I haven't find help here in >Italy, I hope to find it in U.K.: > >1. how can I connect Yaroze and particullary how to use the software to >make it work? >2.
