Hi Roman, A common method for fading to black is to draw a semi transparent RECT over the top of everything and vary the RGB values over the course of several frames. To fade to white, apply the same principal but use additive transparency instead. Check out the "Fading.." thread in *.2d_graphics for more information and some basic source by Robert Swan.
