I currently work in IT Support. I do a little bit of programming (VB, Perl, Omnimark/SGML). Am bored at work. Have been teaching myself C over the last 6 months. Got into the Yaroze about 3 months ago, though have only started writing stuff for it in the last couple of weeks. I've got a place on a MSc in Multimedia, part time, 2 days a week. Course is mainly Java, with Director, HTML, Javascript, Object-oriented design, Interactive Systems design etc. I'm going to be working the other 3 days. Trouble is, what I really want to do is games. I can't make up my mind whether to do this MSs (which is 2 years long and could be out of date by the time I finish it) or concentrate on the Yaroze and games programming in general and try and get a job in the games industry. Or should I try and do both? Anyone have any useful advice? Phil
