I would be interested in a more general question: Are these employers more looking for a programming details, like the stuff with the multiple inheritance or what attribute groups can you use with glPushAttrib in OpenGL or something like this, or are they more looking for people with a mathematical/conceptual background like, where do you see the advantages/disadvantages of subdivison over splines, what kind of splines can be used, why do you need mipmapping?
