I for one make backup copies of my games, I one too many times have been playing with originals, friends and beer and end up scratching a disc. This ultimately sucks! I think by having disc media you MUST be able to back up your stuff. Its too easily ruined. If people are going to pirate stuff, which they are and will never be stopped - why bother with the protection at all. It doesnt stop anyone from copying anything, it just makes it more of a pain for us to make backups. If (and there always is) a way around something, it will be hacked, there is no question about it. By removing any protection systems could be cheaper as well, ie,. no money going into R&D for protection "schemes". my 2 cents. -ben
