The problem is that it's a sequel. It's *supposed* to be 'more of the same' in so much as it's got to hook the people who played the first game. Our 'brief' was to create a game similar in feel to GTA but much more 'freeform' & polished. I think we've succeeded in that. The missions are *much* more varied, the cities are very much more alive, the engine's got a kick into the '90s, and it *plays* nice. People here are really getting into it, even the guys who've slogged away on it for nearly two years - *we're* enjoying it, and that's got to be a good thing. It's damn good fun. It's definitely more the game we *wanted* to make first time round - but it's still not perfect. That's for GTA3 ;) What did you want out of it? Driver?
