It's probably more the manuals being bad which make the libraries horrible :-) If you can't understand what a lib call is doing it is horrible, you have to know what goes in and what you expect to come out if you don't know either of these then the whole thing is unpredictable, I'm beginning to get the hang of things now, thanks to copious downloads from various web sites and tutorials, ripping other peoples code apart is often the best way to learn, as long as it's documented and in english - I remember trying to hack the Amos Library to write the AGA extension that was a nightmare all the comments were in French. > Hmm, I doubt that.
