You know, the average New York isn't that much more -- most people probably live outside of Manhattan. It's good to be in the computer business :) I've heard of Stony Brook. That's a SUNY school if I remember (State University of New York), and it's upstate New York. You'll want to visit New York City at least once when you're there!
