What happens if every developer makes games for every system and every system is more or less equal? They will do this because it maximises the profit, so again it all boils down to the consumer and the name they know...which surely will be SONY. I myself, like most of us who do/aim to one day make the games that run on these systems, will wait and see. I myself am yet to play the PSX2, but I own a Dreamcast, and it is again, a pretty poor effort, I just hope that the PSX2 and Dolphin are better examples of the next-next gen systems! Marc.
