You would use a dynamic tim type routine that points to the bounding area of the backdrop and sort that tim as a sprite (or use it as a texture). That way you have the effect of resident evil with only a small amount of problems. Does take some tricky programming to get it just right, using objects that are very arbitrary in shape. Nathan
