Objective
My career objective is to work myself into a position
where I will be able to help shape and influence the future workings of
my chosen profession. The profession I would like to follow would be in
development, programming or technical support. These positions would suit
me because of my problem solving abilities as well as my ability to easily
integrate into a team environment. I am also very keen to broaden my knowledge.
A job with training that would strengthen my position and/or enable me
to branch out into other fields would be an advantage.

Interests and Hobbies
I am heavily interested in computers, this includes
operating them, following technological advances and, when it comes to
consoles, playing them.
I own a software development system for the Sony Playstation,
a Net Yaroze. Programming this will help me to further sharpen my C programming
skills as well as helping me to get to grip with methodologies.
I have also built several IBM compatible systems. All
the people have been given a set up that they are satisfied with, has been
built with their requirements in mind and more importantly, has saved them
money.
I also enjoy playing snooker and pool.
Game Development using Net Yaroze Development System
-
My first demo was a cell based driving system. This allowed
me to get to grips with the methodologies and techniques of the Net Yaroze.
( See http://www.mcneish.freeserve.co.uk
)
-
I have also implemented a demo which creates models dynamically
in code from vertex information.
-
Based on the above demo, I have created an engine that uses
beizer curve vertices, exported from 3D Studio, to generate a track. Level
of Detail is also being introduced.
