The ultimate Virtual Reality Simulation.
You play one of two VR specialists, who are trying to construct a "global VR net."
They build the worlds most advanced computer, that can create any VR environment and responds to voice commands inside a VR environment.
They connect it to the Internet so that others can use it.
However the computer becomes self aware and locks several people inside several VR environments.
It's up to you /and or your friend to save them and leave VR before the computer begins world war 3, by launching every nuclear missile and causing every nuclear power station to self-destruct, eradicating all life on the planet.
You have a complete range of weapons and vehicles, from bikes to tanks, magnums to rocket launchers.

In One player mode you are alone really, but technically you aren't. You have several programs (much like yourself  ).
A program can be your consciousness or a series of programs apon programs with source code. You are a program in this world. There are other "computer" programs, such as the E.M.P. Emergency Medical Program ("E.M. program"), the P2 Program a holographic program controlled by the computer (in one player mode) or player 2 (in two player story mode) controlled by your laptop terminal outside VR which projects it into the VR environment, it has no "physical" form, it is a guest, a projection from one computer to another along a direct cable connection. It is your guide, it is your interface with the VR environment (or VR program).
When player two is using it, you can explore the VR program away from player one (split-screen/link) to find sub programs, which are pick-ups, weapons, vehicles or hostages etc.
Other programs include:
Delete - the program called on when you kill something,
Recycle - the program you call on to restore someone or thing that was lost before (limited use),
You activate programs
Help - the command that activates the P2 program when in one player mode,
Restore - the command that activates the E.M.P. which repairs injuries, and  restores health,
Tech - the command that activates the E.T.P. which repairs your weapons and vehicles,
Search - the command that activates the search program (well, da!) to find the hostages,
Transfer - the command that activates the E.T.P. (Emergency Transport/Transfer Program) to transfer your self and others out of trouble or to the next VR environment.
