ESSENTIAL READING
EDGE - the all time
favourite, the mags of mags, deals with every
aspect of the gaming industry, if it scores a 9 or higher, buy
it!
the Edge is always right, superbly written stories and reviews
Official UK Playstation Magazine-
Nice magazine, great coverdiscs
shame their opinion about games is a bit strange...don't always
trust
them
Computer & Video Games
- the oldest magazine in the lot, I bought
this one from the time they printed programm listings for the BBC
and
VIC-20
PC GAMER (american edition) -
Very thick and mature PC gaming
magazine, take their word if they say a game is okay, nice
coverdiscs, a bit too serious on wargaming and strategy.
Electronic Gaming Monthly
- Nice Reading, funny articles, cleverly
written
EGM2- they provide a
helpfull hand when you're stuck, good coverage
of games and their walkthroughs.
The Books that I keep on my table (apart
from te manuals to
Photoshop, 3Dstudio, Illustrator and Director ) are sparse, but
they are:
