PREVIOUS WORK

The first game we did on the CD-i
platforma collection of 10 simple games
;shoot-em-up, puzzle, drawing, pac man
clone, scrambleclone and a small
adventure game.made 4 years ago
with a group of 5 people.
Sold approx. 35.000 in Europe
The second one; this time there were 5
games on the disc. But they were a lot
better and looked very nice. There was
another scramble clone featuring a fly;
a puzzle game on a pizza; more
drawing fun;a mortal pong game and
a top view action, adventure game
starring a penguin.
Sold about 13.000 in Europe and was
made with about 7 people in 8 months
time.
A nice 35 level platform game which
featured a lot of seret levels; very fun to
make because of it's simplicity in
design. Was made with 4 people in
about 6 months and sold around
17.000 pieces in Europe
The first game we published ourselves
2 years ago; the most fun game i made
so far, with over 16 huge side scrolling
levels and zillions of secrets; should be
considered the Mario of Cd-i but
because of poor marketing sold only
5000 pieces in Holland and UK; made
in 4 months with 3 people
Game won bronze award at ICDIA
festival inUSA in 1996
The second game we published
ourselves; Cd-i was already dying out;
but nevertheless we took a bet and
wrote this fast shoot em up
with 99 levels in 3 months time; is
probably the fastest game on CD-i ever.
Too bad it sold only 3500 pieces.
Won a silver award at ICDIA in 1997
...Hurray...

This game sold less than a 1000 but
was a lot of fun too make; it was a cross
between tetris and Arkanoid and had
120 levels; 2 player battles and special
moves; The idea was great but...well...
Also won an award...bronze I think
(we were probably the only entries)

There are a few things to be learned from this

  1. Don't support a crappy platform
  2. Don't try to do your own publishing
  3. Getting published is cool
