I live on the Isle of Wight, in the south of England and am a 15 year old student at Sandown High School on the south east edge of the island. I first became interested in programming when I was about 10, just after my parents bought a second hand Atari with ‘STOS basic’. I have become fairly proficient at programming in basic and have written several educational programs which I have used and have also tried to make games in basic, not an easy task considering that Microsoft's best attempt was ‘Nibbles’! I have had a P.C. for several years and have made over 100 add-ons for PC games, most of them new missions for my favourite games, Command and Conquer & C&C Red Alert. I realised that I needed to learn C or C++ if I wanted to get anywhere in computer programming and had been looking for an affordable package for about 6 months before I discovered the new price of the Net Yaroze and within a week I had placed my order.
