All rights reserved Black Widow ver 1.0 Design: George Bain Code: George Bain Music: Internet Soundfx: George Bain Graphics: George Bain Requirements: IBM-PC 386 or above, running in MS-DOS with 500k of conventional memory and sound card for music/sfx. Note! Do not run in a Windows 95 Dos shell. Installation: 1. Make directory "TMP" on drive C and unzip all files to that directory. 2. Type "install" to start the installation. All files will be copied to the directory C:\games\blwidow. 3. Go into directory "SETUP" and type "setup" to install proper sound drivers. 4. Type "spider" to begin play. Note! Change install.bat to meet your needs. How to play: At the Control Screen hit enter to start the game. Use the cursor keys to move the spider around the maze. Change all the colors and win the game. Press Esc anytime to exit game (why would ya want to do that). Game might run warp speed on a pentiums so be warned. Improvements: Well, more than one level would be nice! I'am getting on that and also better AI for the enemies. I will be adding joystick control so the user can choose what is better for them. Not bad for three weeks work and my very first game? This demo was completed with the original design in mind and version 1.X will have these improvements. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed. George Bain E-mail: George_Bain@bc.sympatico.ca
