28th April 2001 I've added more content to the site related to the Japanese language. I've included a new section which contains a brief introduction to reading Japanese and a few new links. Enjoy! 20th Febuary 2001 I have made various changes to the colour scheme of this site, since I know it was a bit difficult to read before. 12th Febuary 2001 Something went horribly wrong with the message board and it got deleted, so I decided to remove it. I will however replace it with a poll just for fun in the near future. I have also uploaded the article on Getting a job in the games industry, which I know some of you have been waiting for. 30th January 2001 I've now added a message board to the site, please feel free to visit it. I have also made the source code for the DOS demos available, visit the projects section to download them. 29th January 2001 Hajimemashite!!! This is the preliminary design for the site, so I might change it if i'm not happy with it. Hope you enjoy and as always any feedback is welcome. Happy New Year btw :) 11th October 2000 Latest version of my 3d world demo now available for download from projects section. I've added lots of new graphical effects and improvements, in addition to sound to add a bit of atmosphere to the whole thing. Download and please e-mail me to let me know what you think. I have come up with an algorithm to speed up the terrain rendering so I may implement it at a later date. 13th April 2000 I probably should have done this sooner, but the demo of the new 3d world engine is available to download from the projects section 24th February 2000 Exclusive screenshots of my last project on the Yaroze (before I get sick of it!) of my 3d world engine project. Inspired by Zelda 64, it is basically a complete real-time 3d environment with lighting effects, changes in daylight, weather effects, etc. Once finished, anyone will be able to download it and write their own games using the engine. I intend on writing an RPG game once the engine is complete, to demonstrate its functionality. Visit the projects section for screenshots. |
