Peter Dollochan's Tank Game Demo (Duel Shock :-)       16/06/99

Pete D. has been writing a link-able game that showed Libcyc functions working in a real yaroze game. Its not been finished, and because Pete no longer has the time to spend on it, its been released up to as far as he's got. I've added the link code to it so that it can be at least seen working in demo form.

The instructions for getting it up and running are the same for the link demo, run autopsx.bat for a psx link game, and autopc.bat for a modem connection and test transfers.

Once the game is loaded and running, choose from the following:-

Play Game
Single player game, allows the tanks to be moved around with the playstation controllers.

Modem
Creates a connection to another playstation, either directly or via a PC modem.

Link Game
If a connection has been made, this runs a linked game on the playstations, each player moving one tank around the level.
If a connection has not been made, and the playstation is connected to the PC, test transfers can be run, which means the controller controls the movement of both tanks on the level.

Tank Controls
Directional buttons - tank movement
L1 - move turret left
R1 - move turret right
Triangle - Switch between tank and turret direction view
Cross - Fire

PAL and NTSC
The auto files load in the mainpal playstation exe, which runs the game in PAL, change this to mainntsc for NTSC displays.
