With regard to your questions about Yaroze.





You ask about three types of PlayStation.

The grey PlayStation, also called the consumer machine,
is purely for playing games. It cannot be used for developing
software, nor does it play gold discs.

The black PlayStation is the cornerstone of Net Yaroze;
together with the rest of the Net Yaroze starter kit, it allows
people to develop PlayStation games. The black PlayStation
is also multi-format, ie plays European, American and Japanese games.
It does not play gold discs.

The blue PlayStation (debug station) is only accessible to
licensed PlayStation developers; it can play gold discs.
Only those who have a full PlayStation development kit can buy
blue PlayStations.
