Student Work - Coursework 2

The students on COM3311 "Programming Interactive Graphical Systems" have just finished the module and this page shows some of their second courseworks arranged alphabetically by surname. This was only one of three or more modules that they have had to do this semester and consequently their work is generally of the 'demo' variety, but there's some interesting work ...

Wabbiiiiit!

Notes:

This is based on an old Spectrum game. You have to kill the bees, slugs and other rabbits to get the carrot. Slugs can only be killed by by jumping on them with special boots, bees can only be killed by swatting them with a special fly swat, other rabbits can only be killed by shooting them. You can only use one powerup at a time and you will find them at certain points in the grass, however the gun doesn't work.

Brain Dead

Notes:

One of the best, this demo allows you to choose one of four bikes, and go for a spin. It takes a bit of learning, you have to use manual gears (note that your rpm has to be increasing to get into first gear). The demo has in game help but to find some traffic go first left, first left, and first left.

Look at Olly'description of the game or link to Olly's Elan Worb (don't ask me just check it out).
