One iceberg and a mini blizzard set the scene for some serious snow-slinging action between a motley crew of penguins.
The game is currently 2 or 4 player battle only, but I hope to add many more
types of game
(league, 1-player mission, etc...),
as well as many miscellaneous game features.
Okay, so Snowball Fight won't melt any of your custom chips, and the polygon count won't impress many people - but that's not important to me.
What really matters is how much enjoyment you get from playing...
How much you'd like to keep learning new strategies and tactics to stay
ahead.
I believe that Snowball Fight is a new, original, enjoyable game and would be very interested to hear from any company who would like to help me develop it to be all that I want it to be.
Snowball Fight currently contains (ahem) VERY FEW BUGS.
I intended to have better penguin positioning at the beginning of levels
There is currently no proper check for the end of rounds.
I was once given four of the same penguin in 4-player mode (?!)
The music has disappeared in this version :o(
The snowflake effect from the last version didn't make it across.
20 Snowpatches for the 'Sliver of River' level is a little generous ;o)
Go play, and please send me comments, bug reports, and the like.
Snowball Fight started development mid-January 1998 and has been
worked on at very irregular intervals since then. All code, design,
graphics and sound are copyright James Rutherford (of The Hex Heroes).
Source code will (probably) be available when it's tidy enough.
