Coming soon...

I have only had my Yaroze for a couple of weeks but I am already starting to get some interesting (and cool / groovy) results. This is mainly due to attending the Yaroze short course run by Peter Passmore and Robert Swan on behalf of Middlesex University. (Strongly recommended for anyone interested in developing on the Yaroze!)

The course gives you two days of playing on the 2D stuff (sprites, collision detection etc) and three days on 3D (h'mmm a bit more tricky) where you are introduced to matrices, co-ordinate systems etc...

Myself and a colleague (Lee Spring) managed to get a playable version of that old classic Space Invaders developed from scratch within a day and here it is invaders.zip.

On the 3D stuff we built a prototype motion capture data player (which needs some additional refinement!). The motion capture player will enable us to take motion capture data and use it to drive playstation TMD models at run-time (when we get round to finishing it off!). Lee is currently working on this as I type!

Anyway, I needed to get something up and on the site in a very poor fashion to give me the impetus to do something a bit more presentable, so here it is!
