Work in Progress by Richard Cutting. Left + Right rotate ship Cross go faster Triange slow down Circle fire Square drop mines Shoot enemy ships. Don't bump into anything. Very early demo, hence absolutely loads of work to do yet !!! So don't mail me with problems !!!! PAL only. No source yet. 17 October 1998 Now I have a clearer idea of how the game is going to work, I've started to add some more bells and whistles. You'll notice the inclusion of start text for the first three levels plus they actually work. Enemy AI and movement is broken ! and running it twice may crash your Yaroze. 18 October 1998 It's actually starting to look like a game ! Things are much prettier now as I've tidied up some of the graphics. The basic game engine is working, enemy AI is still non-existent although they move a little better. The crashing problem seems to be cured. Got rid of the first row of grid squares for the score, timer etc... 21 October 1998 Crashing problem really cured .... hopefully ... god I hope it is ... otherwise it's going to be a b*****d to find.... 25 October 1998 Yes yes yes yes yes....Finally really cured the crashing bug....and it was sooooo stupid !!! 26 October 1998 Two new levels added with different type of gameplay but with only a couple of new lines of code needed showing that the game engine is proving to be fairly flexible. 5 playable levels now. Enemy AI is still non-existent and sprites sometimes do funny things ! 1st November 1998 Game provisionally renamed 'Free Gorf'. A new character added whom some people will recognise ! End of level sequence added. Minesweeper AI working. Enemy movement almost fixed. 6th November 1998 Graphics totally overhauled. Enemy can now fire back at you. I feel that we're getting somewhere !!! 13th November 1998 Rough title screen added. http://www.netyaroze-europe.com/~rcutting richard.cutting@virgin.net
