MEMVIEW v1.1 by James Shaughnessy (C)1998 This is a PlayStation memory map viewer. It enables you to literally view the memory from 0x80000000 to 0x801fffff with consumate ease. Running: type SIOCONS AUTO Usage: Pad direction to change the view address Hold R1 to speed up the scrolling Hold L1 to change the screen width (with left/right) START goes to the end to view the System Stack area (note that it goes as far as it can so the last pixel shows 0x801fffff -- the address shown onscreen is the top left-pixel) SELECT-START to quit It is advisable that you run the yaroze game of your choice first, then run MEMVIEW to view the memory map of the given game. (Otherwise you are mostly looking at either nothingness or just garbage.) Note that MEMVIEW loads into address 0x80140000 but with a simple makefile alteration you can make it go where you want so that it doesn't interfere with the bit of memory you might want to be checking. It currently only views a 16-bit graphic depth (due to Limitations of LoadImage) but I will try and get it so you can change that too. I guess it could be used in conjunction with a screen-grabber to rip graphics like with those old Amiga utils but it's mainly so you can get a pictorial view of all that stuff you DLOAD with those batch files. Any suggestions etc etc. email me but the source is included so you can mess about with it yourself; let me know if you do anything cool with it. Cheers!
